Agonistic activity

Since many years the Yacht Club Cagliari have juvenile team trained by qualified instructors. This activity is reserved to people who have successfully attended summer sailing courses. They can use YCC boats and equipment during the winter.

The sailing school is open from June to September; the entrance fee depends on the period of the course and includes: FIV membership card, Sportass assurance, a T-shirt and a sail handbook. It is necessary a health certificate.

From the Yacht Club Cagliari sailing school come champions like Andrea Mura (America's Cup- Moro di Venezia-1991 and 420 European Champion-1982) and Gigi Barrella (windsurf and funboard Italian Champion and funboard European Champion-1993).

The main classes followed by the Yacht Club Cagliari instructors are Optimist, Laser, 420, 470, Mistral and Funboard.
